Lab Testing

At MVC Vet Care, our in-house laboratory can perform blood tests, urinalysis, and fecal checks on site. We can also send tests to outside labs to get a more comprehensive view of your pet’s health.

Our laboratory testing is also used in the regular course of your pet’s routine wellness exams. We keep a record of your pet’s lab work to compare against future results, which helps us efficiently identify changes in their systemic health.

There are times when a physical exam doesn’t tell us everything we need to know about what’s going on inside your pet. If we suspect an internal problem, we may order an x-ray to get a look at your pet’s internal systems, such as their bones.

The imaging process for x-rays is completely pain-free and non-invasive, which is a huge benefit for our diagnostic process. We can get a closer look at your pet’s insides without any extreme measures.
